We have fantastic deals on Canada ski holidays all year round. Skiing in Canada is the perfect antidote to the crowded slopes of some of Europe's traditional ski resorts. Vancouver is an excellent base for skiing, with Grouse Mountain (where floodlit pistes allow night-time skiing) only about half an hour's drive away. Whistler, just 90 minutes drive north of the city has the highest lift-serviced piste in North America and incredible fall-line runs, while Kootenay to the south of Vancouver is usually pleasantly empty.
In the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Banff and Jasper National parks are transformed into excellent ski resorts during winter, offering down-hill skiing for all levels and even heli-skiing. Cross country skiers will want to head further north to Whitehorse, Yukon, which has perfect conditions, landscapes and facilities. In Canada's eastern territories, skiing is also possible in the mountains around Quebec and Montreal.
